He is recognized as a respected and trusted leader who fosters strong partnerships through exceptional communication across all levels of any organization.
Steve has his own consulting practice in Arizona, Pillar Small Business Solutions, LLC. He advises clients how to achieve goals, close gaps and maximize performance using continuous improvement. Additionally, Steve serves as a Board of Director for Navis Food Partners, in Connecticut, along with their Private Equity Partner, Frontenac out of Chicago, Illinois.
Previously, Steve served as the Region President at US Foods in the Western United States, where he held responsibility for strategic direction, tactical planning, and execution in multi-center operations.
In this position, Steve and his team achieved consistent sales and bottom-line results for 12 operating markets with >$6 billion in sales and up to 500 local and national sellers.
Before joining US Foods, Steve acted as the Division President and Director at Martin-Brower where he oversaw strategic direction, tactical planning, and execution in multi-center operations. Prior to this position, he worked for Corporate Express and Alliant Foodservice (now US Foods), in leadership roles.
Steve received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Murray State University.
